After the events of “Batman” (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, plays the reins of the Gotham underworld: from melting makeup to filming in sub-zero temperatures, Colin Farrell and Christine Milioti talk about how they became criminals. Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of the Penguin smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed. However, in his own series, the character is described as a casual smoker who prefers cigars.

The first episode is a direct continuation of Matt Reeves’ series
Batman and I think that those who haven’t seen the last one will be a little confused. But some time ago, I watched “Batman”, and this series did a wonderful job, quickly introducing me to where the movie ended, and not getting bogged down in a didactic review. It also conveys the film’s aesthetic and dark tones well, although the series has many more moments of sly frivolity than the film.
As in “Batman”, Colin Farrell perfectly copes with the role of Penguin as a stereotypical gangster
;street type:" rude, impious, fickle and prone to violence; but also skillful, cunning and able to read people. Perhaps the character has absolutely nothing to do with the comic book version, but he is interesting in his own right. and I don’t know if the “Penguin’s” shenanigans will be enough to last the whole season.
But for now, this is a great start
